Maya Ito is the Co-Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of ACCA Journal, as well as an international art curator and artist manager recognized for fostering dialogue across cultures. Her work moves fluidly between art, media, and international engagement, creating meaningful connections between Eastern and Western perspectives.
Through exhibitions, editorial leadership, and distinguished collaborations, she has established herself as a notable voice in cross-cultural exchange. In 2026, she received the Women Who Shine Award from the City of Beverly Hills, an honor signed by all City Council members and an active member of The Royal Society of St. George California.
She has served as a volunteer at the Getty Center since 2019 and was a volunteer council member for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica from 2010. She speaks Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and English.
