JIM JORDAN (AMERICAN)

At the intersection of artistry, compassion, and conscious entrepreneurship, Jim Jordan embodies a visionary commitment to transforming lives through the lens of creativity. From his roots as a skater and surfer in the sun-drenched landscapes of Southern California, Jim Jordan's journey unfolded into a narrative of discovery, passion, and purpose.

From a young age, Jim's keen eye for beauty led him to scout models, foreseeing the faces that would define generations to come such as supermodels Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid, and Jeremy Meeks to name a few. Rapidly ascending the ranks, he became a respected hair and makeup artist, crossing the globe to transform the luminaries of his time, such as Elizabeth Taylor, Whitney Houston, Cindy Crawford, Farrah Fawcett, to name a few. Immersed in the world of photography alongside legends such as Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Arthur Elgort, Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber, Jim absorbed invaluable insights, laying the groundwork for his own artistic evolution.

Transitioning from behind-the-scenes maestro to the creator behind the camera, Jim developed a distinct and captivating style as a photographer and director, specializing in celebrity, fashion, and fine art photography. His work, characterized by a timeless and elegant aesthetic, captures the essence of contemporary stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, and the Kardashians, to name a few, gracing the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.

MIA FLORENTINE WEISS (GERMAN)

Known for her multidisciplinary work, including sculpture, installation, and performance art. She was born in Würzburg, Bavaria in 1980  and studied at the University of the Arts Berlin and the London College of Communication. Weiss explores themes of identity, transformation, and the relationship between the individual and society in her art. Her work often incorporates unconventional materials and techniques, such as using glass, metal, and light to create immersive installations. She has exhibited her artwork internationally in renowned galleries and museums, including the Venice Biennale, the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, and the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Germany. Mia Florentine Weiss has received several awards and honors for her contributions to contemporary art, and her work has been featured in various publications and media outlets. She continues to create thought-provoking and visually stunning artwork that challenges traditional notions of art and engages viewers on a profound level. 

The Ambigram sculpture LOVE HATE has already found its permanent place in Frankfurt's Senckenberg complex since 2015. After the attacks in Paris, the monument was illuminated in the colours of the French flag, which gave it a far-reaching media presence. The installation in the Main metropolis was supported by Metzler's family of bankers, who are among the artist's patrons. LOVE HATE gained..international reputation at the Art Basel Miami 2016 and as the "opening" object of the Context Miami fair. LOVE HATE is represented  in worldwide collections. 


JAMIE NELSON  (AMERICAN)

With her colorful, over-the-top, iconic imagery, photographer Jamie Nelson blurs the lines between commercial, art and editorial worlds.

Often referencing vintage culture, Nelson time-warps the viewer to a simpler era, to provide a sense of freedom from the current cultural climate.  As a female photographer, Nelson conveys a shocking sensuality that uplifts, rather than objectifies, her models.  

Nelson draws on a range of influences from photographer Guy Bourdin to filmmaker Federico Fellini—as well as movements such as punk music, vintage clothing, and motorcycle culture.  

After 20 successful years in commercial photography, Nelson has recently shifted her focus to exhibiting her vast collection of imagery.  Her work has been used by brands such as Dior, Shiseido, and Sak’s Fifth Avenue; and published in Playboy, Vogue, and Vanity Fair.  Her celebrity clients include Drew Barrymore, Halsey, and Camila Cabello; as well as iconic album covers with Gwen Stefani and Megan Thee Stallion.

Known for her eclectic style, Nelson is a living breathing artistic statement of her own.  She currently resides in Los Angeles in her pink palace—where art imitates life daily within her studio.  Nelson designed the interiors herself— adorned with colorful 70’s shag from floor to ceiling, round spinning bed, phallic topiaries, and a jukebox—mimicking her fantastical images. 

In this series, photographer Jamie Nelson created a collection of Chanel images which questions a cultural obsession with excessive branding.  

Nelson collaborated with artist Dylan Egon to create custom faux Chanel pieces.  In contrast, Anna Katsanis styled the series using authentic Chanel—inviting the viewer to guess what is real and what is faux.

The images illustrate how a simple logo cultivated over time can hypnotize society.  Nelson parodies the absurdities of brand obsession and logo consumption—from a microscopic Chanel eye-booger, to a fully Chanel tattooed face—even a Chanel handgun.  

Nelson questions how far we take our logo-laden identities—spending exorbitant money on anything and everything adorned with a fashion symbol.  Anyway, what if, in the end it was all a farce and proven to be faux all along?
