At the age of 12, she lost almost all of her eyesight. This tragic occurrence should change her life from then on dramatically. The colors were the only thing that she could see clearly and that would guide her through her life. Xandra herself explains it like that” I feel very secure, certain and strong after discovering the power of a voice and trusting the energy of colors”. Not only does she see the colors she also senses and feels them-their magic, their inimitable luminous power, their beauty and intensity. The so called alleged weakness became her strongest ally in her work as a fashion designer that she uses in a extraordinary way. To follow the colors, the energy and her intuition, is the foundation of her passionate accomplishments. Xandra has a creative nature that not only manifests itself in fashion. Her passion for creations also shows in many other facets. In her early years in Paris she devoted herself to dance while studying business . After that she was also enchanted by music and singing this has brought her to 5 album releases up to today. With the music she learned to express her melancholy and with fashion she could show her high spirits. Her true master though should be life itself. To combine fashion, music and film is the absolute logical and compelling consequence for the designer and the vision that she is following from the very beginning. She finds the inspiration in her countless trips and journeys to Marrakech, Dubai, Cannes, Paris and Berlin. To understand all the different cultures and energies of the world as a whole is an important base of her thinking and is reflected in her creations. That’s why you can find African looking headpieces and the diversity of colors of the continent, paired with the elegance of the French and mysteriousness of the Arabic countries in her collections. Her creations are marked by her distinct signature and are the result of her very personal life experience- a life history of a journey that started with and idea, that is about searching, getting lost and finally finding sensibility and passion to create a brand combining music and fashion is her aim .Music will also express and satisfy her melancholic urge while fashion will reminds her of the happiness in life Xandra is already out on a new adventure- this time she is drawn to Los Angeles where she always has dreamed about.
