ACCA’s is pleased to announce the representation of Shen JIngdong. The gallery will present new works and publish collections stamped by ACCA in Beverly Hills in 2022. Shen Jingdong takes the formula of contemporary art to transform his heroes into everymen and its everymen into heroes. Shen has define his own style of porcelain like figures to transport us toward his likable and fun universe.

In Shen’s portraits the leaders and soldiers have an everyman quality. There is no difference between the leaders, the soldiers, and regular folks, including kids, all part of the same fairy tale. Shen’s work stands for the emotional experience combining Nanjing tradition of conceptual art, literary symbolism and humanism to turn ordinary things into cute porcelain ceramic like figures.
