Princess Karen Cantrell, Ratu Muda of Kupang, Indonesia, is a renowned leader in international advocacy, championing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over four decades of experience, she's dedicated to global development, social justice, and humanitarian efforts. Cantrell has worked tirelessly for 14 years, leveraging her communications expertise to promote the SDGs. As President of the United Nations Association of the Coachella Valley and former board member of the United Nations Association of the Inland Empire, she's aligned regional efforts with UN objectives, fostering partnerships with international organizations and NGOs.

Cantrell's strategic leadership in content development has driven international engagement with the SDGs, building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Her contributions have earned numerous accolades, including the President's Call to Service Lifetime Achievement Award, The King Charles Leadership Award, and The Icon of Peace Award. Recent recognitions include the United Nations Peace Keepers Federal Council Global Leadership Award and another Icon of Peace Award.

Cantrell's leadership and strategic approach to content acquisition position her as a key figure in advancing global peace and sustainable development. Her work inspires and shapes the international community, driving forward the UN's mission and fostering a more just and equitable world.

Her Highness Princess Karen Cantrell received the Global Leadership Achievement Award at the Hollywood Museum, recognizing her tireless work in humanitarian causes, equality, and peace. 

As Chairwoman of the United Nations Association – Coachella Valley and the Royal Society of Saint George - California, Cantrell's commitment to ethical leadership, compassion, and diplomacy has inspired movements worldwide. 

The award, presented by Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council, acknowledges her transformative work in education, human rights, and inclusive development. This honor solidifies her strategic alliance with international bodies, including the Global Humanitarian Platform initiative. Dr. Chaichana praised Cantrell, saying she "exemplifies global leadership" and "transforms" through courage, compassion, and vision, reshaping what it means to serve humanity.

The Royal Society of St. George, California Branch (RSSG CA), proudly hosted its prestigious St. George's Day Gala on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Hollywood Museum. This black-tie event brought together international honorees, dignitaries, and thought leaders to celebrate extraordinary achievements in science, advocacy, and humanitarianism. The evening served as the organization's premier annual celebration of leadership, innovation, and compassion across a broad range of fields.

This year's gala featured the presentation of the Royal Society of St. George Medal of Honor, the UNA/USA Humanitarian and Sustainability Awards, and appointments to distinguished honorary titles and roles within the Society. The recipients represent a global cross-section of individuals making impactful contributions to science, public service, humanitarian causes, and the arts.
