Bridging Cultures

Through

Conversation

Li Mi is a Chinese television host, cultural communicator, and public welfare advocate whose career has evolved from national broadcast television to international cultural dialogue. A graduate of the Communication University of China and Peking University HSBC Business School, she spent years as a host on CCTV Movie Channel, where she appeared on programs such as Movie Report, Premiere, and Golden Years, and hosted major events including the Golden Rooster Awards, the Hundred Flowers Awards, the Huabiao Awards, and several international film festivals.

Now based in Los Angeles, Li Mi focuses on artist interviews, cultural storytelling, and cross-cultural exchange. As a collaborative artist interview host for ACCA, she works to connect artists, cultural institutions, and audiences through thoughtful conversations and media content. Her work extends beyond traditional television into a broader creative space shaped by digital media, arts, and international collaboration.

Li Mi’s path is defined by transformation. Though she did not begin as a naturally outgoing speaker, a national CCTV hosting competition during college helped set her career in motion and changed the way she communicated with the world. Over time, hosting became more than a profession. It became a way to listen, connect, and build understanding across cultures.

Today, she continues to share film, art, lifestyle, and cultural perspectives while also supporting public welfare initiatives focused on environmental causes and children’s health.
